Been a while since the last update. Here is what's going on. Matt Mahaffey is just finishing producing a new record for Vagrant Recording artist A Cursive Memory. After that he will be producing the next HelloGoodye record. Matt also has two productions on the newly released record by The Sounds. Tim Anderson also has three productions on that same new record by The Sounds. Tim also produced the new record by Dead Mans Bones and a new record by ImaRobot. Jimmy Messer just finished co-writing and producing a new record by Joe Firstman. Also, Jimmy produced a few songs that he also co-wrote with and for Aaron Bruno, former lead singer of Under The Influence of Giants. The Dan Band appear in the new movie The Hangover that opens around the country today. The Dan Band are doing shows in San Diego, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver this month and then begin a new residence in Los Angeles at Club Nokia and Las Vegas at LAX in July. So it has been a while since this has been updated. The Dan Band holiday record is out now. It entitled Ho and can be found in stores around the country, on iTunes and bought online at www.thedanband.com Also, The Outline are in the studio recording their second record which will be out this summer. They did a successful winter tour around the Uk with the band Powderfinger and hope to be back in London in May to support the release of the bands first record entitled "You Smash It, We'll Build Around It", released on 30 30 Records. Matt Mahaffey continues to work on records with Jeff Turzo. Matt and Jeff produced the hit record by HelloGoodbye and have since produced records for the bands Shut Up Stella, White Tie Affair, Dukes of Deville, Forever The Sickest Kids and just did a song with Under The Influence of Giants.

This is a big week for Solid Music Companies Matt Mahaffey, who many of you know from his band sElf.  Matt along with Jeff Turzo (God Lives Underwater), produced, engineered and mixed the #1 Indi album on this weeks charts, HelloGoodbye (Drive Thru) , which debuted at #18 selling 37,651 records. 
 
 

Matt and Jeff are also known as Wired All Wrong, which is their band whose record comes out September 12 on Nitrus Records.  The song Lost Angeles by Wired All Wrong was just added at Indie 103.1 FM here in LA.  For more info go to www.myspace.com/wiredallwrong or hit me up for a copy of the record.
